BEHIND THE LENS

Since 1983 when I got my first 35mm film camera I was trying to capture life through a lens. Now some 30 years later I have taken a hobby and turned it into a passion.

Hi, my name is Bob Devonshire and this is PHOTO-5 Imagery. This site is a sampling of the collection of photographic images that I have shot over the past 30 years. As I am sure you will quickly see I have a wide range of subject matter that I like to shoot. Without a doubt my favorite shots are black & white.

As a volunteer firefighter I have recently begun to capture more and more shots from emergency scenes. My main focus is capturing the everyday things from life that sometimes slip by unnoticed by most but appreciated by many who stop to take a look around at the obscure.
